How to check traffic summons in Malaysia 2023. Checking for outstanding traffic summons (saman trafik) from JPJ, PDRM, AES and speed trap has never been easier. Now you can check them online or via SMS.

The following online and SMS services allows you to check traffic summons from Road Transport Department (JPJ), Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and Automated Enforcement System (AES) using your IC/MyKad number and also using your car number. Some websites also allows you to pay for the summons online.


I) CHECKING TRAFFIC SUMMONS ONLINE

There are 4 portals provide the service, and all of them are free.

1. MyEG Services

This website is valid for both PDRM and JPJ issued summons.

  1. Go to www.myeg.com.my.
  2. Register with the website if you are a first time user.
  3. Login with your username and password.
  4. Click eServices on the top menu and select JPJ or PDRM.
  5. Select the appropriate link to check (and pay) your summons.

MYEG also has a service that send an alert to your email if if you have any new summons. The subscription to this service is free.


2. MyBayar Saman

MyBayar Saman is a portal developed by PDRM. It allows users to check and pay individual and company summon online without service charges.

MyBayar Saman

  1. Visit MyBayar Saman website here and register.
  2. Login with your User Id (Mykad No. / Company Reg. No.) and password.
  3. Details of your summons (if any) will be displayed automatically.

MyBayar Saman is also available via mobile apps which can be downloaded at Google Play, Apple App Store atau Huawei AppGallery.

3. SSO PDRM

This website is valid for PDRM Issued summons only.

  1. Layari the Sistem Semakan Online website at https://sso.rmp.gov.my/.
  2. New users need to click “Pendaftaran Baru” button to register.
  3. The log in using the registered user ID and password.
  4. Please click the "Search By" dropdown menu to select your search method.
  5. Click on the "Status Saman" icon to check your traffic summons against your IC number or your car/vehicle registration number.

4. JPJ

This service is for summons issued by the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

  1. Visit the RTD Summons Inquiry webpage.
  2. Click the Search Option dropdown menu and select "ID NO. ONLY" or "ID NO. AND VEHICLE NO.".
  3. Click the ID Category dropdown menu to select your type of ID.
  4. Enter your ID number.
  5. Enter your vehicle registration number if you chose "ID NO. AND VEHICLE NO." in step 2.
  6. Enter the details and security code (captcha).
  7. Finally click the "Search" button. The result will be displayed under "Search Result" underneath the inquiry form.


II) CHECKING TRAFFIC SUMMONS VIA SMS

Checking summons via SMS is too easy. All you need is your Identity Card / MyKad number or vehicle registration number, and a handphone of course. Each SMS sent will cost you 15 sen, and each answer costs 20 sen.

  • Type:

    POLIS<space>SAMAN<space>[No Kad Pengenalan atau No kenderaan]

    on your mobile phone dan send to 15888 or 32728.

    Example:

    POLIS SAMAN 841220122332 or
    POLIS SAMAN WEP1234

  • If you want detailed answer, type this:

    POLIS<space>SAMAN<space>[ IC or vehicle registration no. ]<space>[email]

    and send it to 32728. The summon details will be sent to your email.

    Contoh:

    POLIS SAMAN 740523015555 myemail@gmail.com

  • Type

    on your mobile phone dan send the SMS to 15888.
